Who we are

Shadowbox Inc operates this radiology scheduling proof-of-concept application and its SMS program. Messages identify the program as “Shadowbox Radiology.”

The application and SMS program are used exclusively for internal testing and invited demonstrations. All appointment information is synthetic and represents simulated appointments. The program does not provide medical care or schedule actual patient appointments.

Consent to receive messages

Internal testers and invited demo participants provide verbal consent before receiving SMS messages. Providing a mobile phone number alone does not constitute consent.

Before requesting consent, a Shadowbox representative explains the types of messages participants will receive, that message frequency varies with testing activity, that message and data rates may apply, and how to request help or opt out. Participants are also provided access to this policy and the program’s Terms and Conditions.

SMS participation is optional. Participants may withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP.

Messages we send

Participants who consent may receive:

• A booking link when a simulated imaging appointment is ready to schedule.
• A confirmation after booking a simulated appointment.
• A reminder before a simulated appointment.
• Responses to HELP, STOP, START, or other incoming messages.

Message frequency varies based on testing and demonstration activity. Message and data rates may apply. We do not send marketing or promotional messages through this program.

Information we collect and how we use it

We collect and use:

• Mobile phone numbers to send messages to participating testers and demo participants.
• SMS consent information to document permission to send messages and manage participation.
• Message delivery information and incoming messages, including keyword responses, to operate and troubleshoot the program, provide assistance, and process messaging preferences.
• Scheduling tokens and synthetic appointment information to generate booking links and demonstrate scheduling, confirmation, and reminder workflows.

Participants’ phone numbers and consent information may be real, even though all appointment data is synthetic.

Information sharing

Shadowbox Inc does not sell personal information or SMS opt-in data.

We do not share personal information, mobile phone numbers, or SMS opt-in and consent data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

We share information with service providers only as necessary to operate the booking and messaging services on our behalf, or as required by law.

Message content and demo data

Messages contain general scheduling information and tokenized links to the demo booking site. SMS messages do not include actual patient names, dates of birth, medical record numbers, exam details, or diagnoses.

Participants should not enter or send real patient information or other sensitive medical information through this demo application or by SMS.

Opt out and help

• Reply STOP to unsubscribe. You will receive an opt-out confirmation, and no further program messages will be sent unless you resubscribe.
